Time's up

Postby GS_UNIL » Wed Jan 06, 2010 7:58 am

In some experiments I plan, there should be some probe trial: this mean the subject has to try finding back his goal/plate-form, but the evil experimenter has removed it!
In the case of a learning trial, the experimenter also could have several trials with a fixed duration.
With that, I mean that this determined amount of time, f.i. 60 seconds, should be considered disregarding the time needed for showing instructions!

Maybe this wouldn't be a key feature, but it remains a little bit more objective than having the experimenter pushing "ESCAPE" after 60 sec. or after the subject said "my exploration is over".

Oops!
I forgot that this feature is already available!
I note it here for the possible newbies: under "Maze Objects", there's a "Timeout" field on the left of the screen and a TimeoutMessage" field.
What else? ;)
